I was an SCCP student between July 2023 and April 2024 – once I started, I was hooked and made sure to make every single session so I could graduate quickly and move forward with my hypnotherapy career.
I started in parallel, developing the skill needed for my therapy business through the BEST Group which I joined soon after starting my Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
James and Ed provide clear and logical advice on how to build a practice in an online-first world, provide guidance on the HPD assessment (for those interested in gaining this additional qualification on top of the ADCH), and also provide highly valuable additional learning about personality types, and delve into cases studies to enrich our learned wisdom.
Highly recommend it for those new to the industry keen to make an impact.

I only regret not joining sooner and would not miss the monthly session!
I decided to join the BEST group after graduating in order to continue learning about hypnotherapy and share best practice with peers. The group contributes to increased learning fed in digestible pieces.
The group does not only cover advice on hypnotherapy and review of case studies but it also provides a large amount of support on how best to setup your practice including marketing tools. This has proven very useful to gain public visibility with inquiries immediately following.
James and Ed keep things simple and to the point. We all have the opportunity to ask questions and contribute to the discussion. No matter our level of experience, we are heard and our input is valued.

The BEST group is a fantastic complement to the SCCP course. It provides monthly support sessions where you can network with fellow therapists and delve deeper into case studies and best practices. This ongoing support has been invaluable in reinforcing the knowledge gained during the SCCP course.
James and Ed offer excellent advice on running your own practice, presenting condensed and practical information that is incredibly helpful. These sessions not only enhance your professional skills but also create a supportive community where you can share experiences and insights.

If you want further learning advice, and help with setting up your Hypnotherapist business, then you also have the option of joining the BEST Group.
These are monthly Zoom meetings dedicated to help you develop your business as well as guidance on completing your HPD portfolio. The meetings also include supervision and further in depth therapeutic discussions.
And the BEST thing about being a BEST member, if you want to come back and revisit a module to refresh your memory, or for CPD, then you can do this at any time with no additional cost.
